Personal photos: no restrictions. You may photograph or film your room and the common areas with your phone or camera for personal use — including to share on your social media.
Commercial use: prior written consent from the hotel is required. This includes photo and video shoots, sponsored content, advertising, catalogues, filming, and any professional use likely to be published or monetised. It is the final use that makes a shoot commercial, whatever equipment is used.
Why?
- Image and property rights: the hotel, its design, its artworks, its brands and logos, and the people present are all protected.
- Privacy and safety: other guests and staff are present.
- Hotel house rules: some areas may not be photographed, and some equipment (lighting, tripods, drones, etc.) may be prohibited.
